Lose Stomach Fat Fast and Effective

Trying to lose stomach fat fast can feel frustrating and difficult if you are trying to go about it the wrong way. This will show you how you can lose stomach fat fast without having to use some extravagant diet or abdominal crunch gimmick.

How to Burn Belly Fat Fast

Tip #1 – Beware of using diets that do more harm than good.

Many people will try to eat only one meal a day using a “crash diet“, which is the idea that starving yourself will make you burn fat. They try to maintain this as a permanent way of eating. A crash diet will put your body into starvation mode. In the short tem you may lose some belly fat but in the long run your metabolism slows down and you will start to lose muscle mass.

If you eat 5-6 smaller meals in a day, you will prevent sharp spikes in your blood sugar and will not feel hungry because you are eating often. This is a preferred method to crash dieting. Some examples of high quality protein are things like chicken, turkey, fish, tuna, etc. These are important because it takes a lot of energy to digest them. Protein is one of the key foods that will raise your metabolism and have you burning stomach fat much quicker than any quick fix diet. Foods with high nutritional value, vitamins and minerals are fruits and vegetables. If you eat these foods they will help you lose belly fat fast because of the energy you will lose digesting them.

Tip #2 – Train with a lot of intensity!

Intense workouts will help you lose stomach fat fast because intense workouts will help your metabolism pick up and remain working for you hours after you have finished exercising. This means you will still be burning calories for hours after you have finished working out. Here is a good example of a “metabolic strength training workout”:

20 lunges
10 overhead dumbbell presses
10 sit ups

Try doing this workout for as many “rounds” as you can in 10 minutes. Only rest when you need to. You will feel your muscles working while you elevate your heart rate and break a sweat!

Tip 3 – Stop doing slow, boring, monotonous cardio workouts.

Doing long cardio workouts can be effective, but they are extremely time consuming and can get boring after awhile. There is another type of cardio that is much better for losing belly fat fast that is called interval training. Interval training simply consists of going slow, then going fast for a set period of time (ex. 90 seconds slow, 30 seconds fast).

This is great way to lose stomach fat fast because of how it impacts your resting metabolism. The short bursts of high intensity (30 seconds) will really get you out of your comfort zone and have you working very hard. This is what will impact your resting metabolism and have you burning calories for a long time after your workout is over.
